We process personal information in many ways related to our website and services, but primarily we collect information about you to provide you are products. The following is a list of the type of personal information we collect and a description for its use:
- Account Formation: When you create an account, we collect your full name (first and last), and email address. Your password is stored in a hashed format. We will send you a confirmation email to the email address you provide in order to confirm your account activation. You can delete any account you have with us by emailing info@kodlinusa.com. We will contact account deletion requests. For security purposes we will not process any deletion requests solely via email.
- Making a Purchase: When you purchase a product from us, we need some personal information in order to provide you with that product. We will ask you for your shipping name and address in order to send you your product. We ask you for a phone number in case we need to contact you about your order. You have the ability to add or edit your shipping address by logging into your account or you can choose to checkout as a guest. We also keep track of your order history, which you can see on your account page.
- SMS Sign Up: You have the option to sign up to receive texts from us about promotional and personalized marketing and text messages. You can opt-out from receiving marketing and promotional texts at any time by following the instructions in the text (usually by replying STOP).
- Payment Processing: In addition we partner with Shopify to process payments—We do not, ourselves, process or store your card information. Shopify will collect and use your information about you on our behalf to process your payment and ensure the security of our payment process. This may mean that your personal information is shared with a fraud detection services. Shopify will not use our customer’s information to independently market or advertise to our customers unless you are also using on of Shopify’s applications or service directly, nor will they “sell” your personal information (as the term is used in California law). - Third-Party Payment: The payment gateway on our website allows you to provide payments through various services providers, including Shopify Payments (Shop Pay), Google Pay, Amazon Pay and PayPal. In connection with the processing of such payments, we do not retain any personally identifiable information or any financial information such as credit card numbers.
